I have to note how well the kids did on the plane. I was so nervous about Coopers ears. He has had four rounds of antibiotics for ear infections (and yes, if you are wondering, it has impacted his sleeping and his eating). We dont know if he has had one long one or four seperate infections. Regardless, the little guy has been a super trooper through it all. Four rounds of meds, three doc visits, one ER visit and two ruptured eardrums later, he slept the whole plane ride. A true superhero. You have to love Super Cooper.
Growing up, we always spent Memorial Day weekend at the Rockville Hometown Holidays. There, they have crafts, food, rides, music and much more. It was a super hot day, but we packed up the van and all headed to downtown Rockville. Rori bought matching shirts for all the kids- with the hopes of getting a picture all together. That did not happen, but I caught a few pictures as the day went on.
Jules and Maddie on a ride
Maddie and the Kung Foo Panda!
Outside the Library-looking over books and checking out the sites.
Maddie and Julia waiting on a long line to get balloons. Maddie got a purple dog and Julia got a really cool balloon bracelet. Any guesses on how long it took for Maddie's balloon to pop (along with an official pouting session!)? One hour. Julia, being such a fabulous person, gave Maddie her balloon bracelet. Problem solved :)
Hanging out at Aunt Rori and Uncle Rich's house. Cooper had so much fun hanging out with all the big kids!
Maddie and Julia playing GO BANANA's (thanks to cousin Allyson in WI...it is her favorite game!)
Memorial Day is the official weekend for neighborhood pool openings in the area I grew up in. We went to Potomac Woods to swim. After being there for 10 minutes, the summer thunderstorm approached.....and we were kicked out of the water. We hung out at the pool for awhile to see if it would pass- but no luck. That did not stop the kids from having fun.Jordan and Maddie

On Saturday night, Aunt Rori took me, Madison and Jordan to the DC UNITED game at RFK (the Redskins old stomping ground). Rich and my parents babysat Coops. Rich also got to watch game one of the Stanley Cup playoffs (unfortunately the Flyers did not win).
